ESF schools receive a subsidy from the Hong Kong Government to provide an education for English speaking children who can not access the local system. Our schools are not selective: admission depends above all on the student's ability to benefit from an ESF education. Please click here to see our Admissions Policy.

 

General Applications for ESF Primary and Secondary Schools 
Parents may submit application for admissions through our Online Admissions System to the current academic year and next academic year. There are waitlists at each of our schools and placement is dependent on places being available.
 
You may submit an application to ESF primary / secondary school and also to one or both Private Independent Schools (PIS). Parents are permitted to apply to both systems. For statistical purposes parents are asked to indicate schools applied to by ticking the box(es) on the online application form.
 

Central Applications for 2012/13 Year 1 (born in 2007) and Year 7 (born in 2001)

Application period: Central Application commences 1 September 2011.

Year One born in 2007 may apply from 1-30 September 2011

Year Seven born in 2001 may apply from 1-30 September 2011

Corporate Surety Scheme

ESF introduced the Corporate Surety scheme in 2007 to enable companies to secure school places for expatriate employees before their arrival in Hong Kong over the summer months. The scheme runs from 1 January to 30 June of each year. There are limited surety places. The Surety scheme will be open in January 2012 for application for August 2012 admissions. The Surety scheme is currently not applicable for the ESF Private Independent Schools or Kindergartens. Please click HERE for the application form. Application to ESF Private Independent Schools (PIS)

Applications to ESF Private Independent Schools - Renaissance College and Discovery College are to be completed on separate application forms located on the individual school websites.
