ESF Geography World Wise Quiz

The first ESF Geography World Wise Quiz for Year 9 students was held on 23 February 2012 at Renaissance College.

The competition aimed to raise the profile of geography within schools through a fun and competitive way. The theme of this year was "local, regional and global geography".

All Year 9 students and teachers from the ESF community got together for the Final Interschool Competition. 

The Sha Tin College team scored the Championship. South Island School and West Island School were  First Runner-up and Second Runner-up respectively.

Dr. Rebecca Lee (李樂詩博士), the founder of the China Polar Museum Foundation and the first woman explorer who reached the Arctic, Antarctic and Mount Everest, gave a presentation on her adventures and insights on the dangers of global warming. 

The prize was sponsored by PRO CAM-FIS. The competition was supported by Hong Kong Discovery.
