Kennedy School triumphs at Island Cricket Tournament

Island Cricket Tournament

Sun hats and water were as important as elegant strokeplay and accurate bowling at Happy Valley on May 26.
The Island Cricket Tournament took place in sultry summer conditions but despite the heat, matches were played with energy and enthusiasm. Sixes were smashed and wickets tumbled as the teams fought their way through the group stages.

The final brought together the strongest two sides in the competition. Kennedy School set a total of 129 then restricted German Swiss International School to 97, thanks to some controlled bowling and alert fielding. Ayush Kumar of Kennedy School was voted Player of the Final for his fine bowling performance.

A keenly contested third place playoff saw Bradbury beat French International School.
