ESF South Island School students give back to the community

This year’s MaD (‘Making a Difference’) Week at ESF South Island School had a charity focus.

The local group visited the Nesbitt Centre where students volunteered to teach and helped provide an English-speaking educational programme for adults with learning disabilities.

The overseas trip were off to Bacolod in the Philippines. Partnered with the International Care Ministries, students helped provide access to clean water and sewerage as some of the local families suffer from poor health, hunger and malnutrition. They also helped in family academies to provide fun and interesting activities as part of the community-based education programme.
