Kowloon Junior School

Age Group: 5 to 11 years

Open since 1902 (when it was known as Kowloon British School), Kowloon Junior School operates on two campuses. Year 1 to 3 students on the Perth Street campus are relocated to a temporary site in Hung Hom; Year 4 to 6 students on the Rose Street campus.

The building of new school on Perth Street is in progress now, it will house all students.

KJS serves south and east Kowloon and provides places for 900 children. The school also makes provision for children with moderate learning difficulties through a learning support class on each campus.

Zone: Areas south-west of Cherry Street and Ferry Street, the east side of Nathan Road to Boundary Street, including Yau Yat Chuen, then eastwards to the Choi Hung interchange. Areas south of Clearwater Bay Road, including Diamond Hill, Hammer Hill, Kowloon Bay, Telford Gardens, Lam Tin (excluding Sceneway Gardens which is Clearwater Bay School), Yau Tong, Ma Wan, Tung Chung and Laguna City, but excluding Tseung Kwan O.
