Island School

Age Group: 11 to 18 years Island School opened in 1967 as the English school for secondary students on Hong Kong Island. The school is an international, co-educational, comprehensive school, providing secondary education for children of all nations who can benefit from an education through the medium of English. The school moved to its present site in 1970, offering a broad liberal education to 1,200 students of some 40 different nationalities. There is a strong tradition of pastoral care and extra-curricular activities, with our students going on to some of the best universities worldwide. Island School has as its aim the development of all the talents of its students: intellectual, academic, imaginative, physical, moral and social. |
