King George V School
King George V School (KGV) is a secondary school under the English Schools Foundation (ESF).
ESF is the largest provider of English-medium international education in Hong Kong. Our mission is to inspire creativity and nurture the global citizens and leaders of the future. We do this by creating joyful learning environments, led by a community of exceptional teachers who bring out the best in every child through a personalised approach to learning and by inspiring curious minds.
King George V School has a tradition of high levels of achievement within an inclusive international community. In the middle years there is emphasis of lifelong learning and skill development in preparation for IGCSEs, GCSEs and subsequently the International Baccalaureate and Applied Learning Pathways. The school also has provision for students with moderate learning difficulties.
We achieve excellent academic results because of the outstanding attitudes of our students, energetically supported by their parents, and our deep commitment to teaching and learning. KGV teachers are creative, ambitious and dedicated to engaging and inspiring their students in the classroom and beyond.
