King George V School

Age Group: 11 to 18 years

King George V School originated as the Central British School in 1902. In 1936 it was moved by the Government to its present site. The present name dates from 1948. Until 1966 it was the only secondary school for overseas children and became very overcrowded. Today it serves students from Kowloon. It occupies a large site of 10.2 acres; the school provides 1,500 places and has a unit for students with special learning needs.
