ESF Peak School Centenary – 1911-2011: Edwardian Picnic on 8 April
As part of Peak School’s Centenary Celebrations, all 350 students had gone on an “Edwardian Picnic”, traveling in the time machine back to the Edwardian Era (1901-1910), the time when Peak School was established in Hong Kong. All children were dressed in Edwardian costumes and played interesting Edwardian games such as “Battledore and Shuttlecock”, “Hunt the Slipper” and “Hopscotch”. Then they had an Edwardian style lunch. It was a one-day history lesson indeed!
Mr Bill Garnett, Principal of Peak School said that it was “a terrific day” and he thanked the parents who contributed to making the costume, organising food and games.
