Glenealy School is located in the Mid-Levels, catering for 360 children including provision for those who need additional support. The school’s mission is to empower learners to flourish and make a positive difference. Glenealy embraces the vibrant international community we serve and actively encourages involvement and promotes a sense of family. The school has been described as “a small school with a big heart!”
Using the IBO PYP programme to frame our curriculum, all children at Glenealy learn through an inquiry based approach, where they are encouraged to explore concepts and ideas by posing questions, investigating and researching, seeking answers and taking relevant action to bring meaning to their learning. The school has a focus on quality literacy and numeracy programmes and uses modern technology to enhance learning, engagement and challenge. We aim for happy, well-rounded and balanced students who have the skills and attitudes to become life long learners. We believe in developing independence and responsibility and offer children many opportunities to take leadership roles and positive action within the school and wider community.
