Ms Edith Shih is the Executive Director and Company Secretary of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, at which she oversees legal, regulatory, corporate governance and compliance matters for over 30 years.
Edith holds a Master’s degree (TESOL, Applied Linguistics) from Teachers College, Columbia University and she is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales, Hong Kong and Victoria, Australia. She is also a fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) and the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI).
Aside from her work commitments, Edith is Chairman of the Process Review Panel of The Accounting and Financial Reporting Council, Member of the Executive Committee and Council of Hong Kong Management Association, Member of the Hong Kong European Business Council, Past International President and current Council Member of CGI and Past President and current Honorary Advisor of HKCGI.
On the education front, Edith is a Trustee of Teachers College, Columbia University, a Council Member of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Steering Committee Member of Forum for World Education. She completed her term as Finance Committee Chairman and Council Member of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications in late 2023.
