Social Behaviour Mapping

17 January, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

HK$300

Social Behaviour Mapping is a tool from the Social Thinking Framework that teaches what behaviours are ‘expected’ and ‘unexpected’ in different contexts.

Social Behaviour Maps also encourage the student(s) to think about the effects of their behaviour on the thoughts, feelings and consequent actions of others.

This flexible tool can be used on an individual, small group or whole class basis.

Participants will leave the session with lots of examples of Social Behaviour Maps as well as knowing how to use a blank template to create maps to support the students that they work with.

Please come along to the session with a student in mind who displays some unexpected behaviours in one or more contexts. You can then use this student as your ‘case study’ when having a go at using the tool.

Please note: it is recommended that participants have attended Social Thinking training prior to this session.
