We are writing to update you on the progress of the review of the recurrent subvention.

The review of subvention arrangements for ESF has now been put on the agenda of the Legislative Council (LegCo) Panel on Education for its meeting at 4:30 pm on 11 July 2011 (Monday). The Education Bureau has submitted a discussion paper which is now available for public viewing on the LegCo website. We have now attached the English version for your information, or you may download the Chinese version from the following link:

Moreover, there is a paper submitted by the Concerned Parents’ Group, and two letters from members of the public which you can find on LegCo Panel on Education website:

Go to http://www.legco.gov.hk/english/index.htm, put your mouse over Committees (on the left menu), then click Panels > Education > Meetings > 11 July Agenda.

If you would like to sit in the meeting, you may call the LegCo at 2869 9399 to reserve a seat in the public gallery.
