The CP is the IB’s fourth programme and it offers a specialised pathway for the students who would benefit from a more focused educational pathway compared to the broad pathway offered by the IB Diploma Programme (DP).

This workshop will look at structure of the CP and how it provides a specialised education within an IB framework that utilizes DP courses in its delivery. The advantages that the CP provides for a school will also be explored. Following on from this, the considerations to be taken into account when planning to offer the CP will also be discussed.

In the final section of the workshop, practical advice will be shared on the process of becoming a CP school. The methods of promoting the CP to interested parties will also be covered.
