Introducing the New ESF App

Dear Parent

I am delighted to tell you that the new ESF App is now ready for you to download.

The app has many amazing features, but perhaps the most important one is that it covers all of our students in all of our schools. This means that if you have children in more than one of our schools, then you only need this one app. You don’t have to download individual apps for individual schools.

Once you have the app on your device you will be able to access messages from the school, timetable information and all the latest news. All of your teachers’ contact details are in there – and you will have the ability to quickly do things like give permission for school trips, sign up for activities and events and even report your child absent if they are not able to make it to school on any given day.

Over the course of the next few weeks, your school will be making the move away from email and onto the app. It will be the primary communications channel for all of our parents. It is really important that you download it as soon as possible – and certainly before school restarts next week.

Once our schools have reopened again to students, we will use the app to issue the all important travel and health declaration – as well as being the place for you to submit your daily temperature checks for your child.

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and all you need to activate it is the email address that you have given to your child’s school. Once you are signed up and in, then you will have single sign on access to a variety of school systems. Gone are the days of having to remember passwords!

Please scan this QR code with your phone to access the app in your App Store or Google Play:

Or click either of these links:

We have produced a handy guide on all of the app features and how to use it. You can access that here

We are really excited about this new app. We think that it will make sure that we can communicate with you quickly and effectively, so that you always know what is happening in school and that you never miss any important messages or events.

Your school will be in touch with you in the coming days about how they intend to make use of the app and to help you with any questions you might have.

Finally, I want to thank you for all of your support. These are challenging times, but we remain as committed as ever to delivering on our promise to you: that we will do everything we can to help your child be the best that they can be.

Thank you.

P.S. When registering for the app, you will be sent an access code via email. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder. If you are still having problems, then please reply to this email.
