Paul Anderson is a primary teacher and a leader of Mathematics at Kowloon Junior School (KJS). Currently teaching Year 6, he is co-chair of the ESF Primary Maths Group and coaches the Tournament of Minds team.
Paul graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA in Politics and Literature. After several years working in commerce, he went on to study education at London South Bank University, graduating with a PGCE. He started his teaching career in 2002 in Tower Hamlets, London where he spent eight years as teacher, year group leader, ICT, Maths and Gifted and Talented programme leader at a school in an area of high deprivation. He also led an award winning debating team to finals at the ESU, London and coached the school choir for the London Mayor’s Thames Festival. Paul moved to Hong Kong to work with ESF in 2012 and has been a staff representative for KJS on the Committee of Teachers for three years.
