Discovery College

Discovery College opened in its new purpose-built campus in Discovery Bay in August 2008 with students in Years 1-8. By 2013 the College will have up to 1,600 students from Years 1-13.

Discovery College will be an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School offering the Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programmes. The College's Vision Statement of Grow. Discover. Dream., recognises the need for students to be independent, critical and creative thinkers, equipped with the skills, attitudes and values to contribute positively in this complex world in which we live.

The College uses English as the medium for teaching and learning. There is also a strong emphasis on the acquisition of Chinese (Putonghua) as a second language. The College strongly supports all subject areas with a robust academic curriculum, including the performing and creative arts (dance, drama, music, visual arts, design technology and ICT).
