Dear Parents and Colleagues
ESF is a world class education system. The students who graduate from our schools are not just successful academically, they are well rounded, confident global citizens. Our philosophy to teaching, The ESF Way, is based on a simple principle: we teach our students where to look, but not what to see.
This approach means that we are ideally placed to take on the challenges posed by this changing world of ours – but we too must change and adapt. As we move into our next strategic plan and as we devise our Vision for 2025, we need to be ready to innovate, to embrace technology and to seek out the new ways of working and the new ways of teaching that will ensure that our students have everything they need to be the best that they can be, in whatever they choose to do.
In embracing this challenge, ESF can move from being world class to being the world’s leading education system.
However, making this move will undoubtedly come at a cost. In this short film, our CEO Belinda Greer explains why that cost cannot simply be passed onto our parents: that we have to think differently about how we raise money to invest in education.
