326 ESF students received the ESF Chairman's Award for Excellence 2012
Congratulations to the 326 ESF students who were presented with the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements! They included:
- 210 students from last year’s Year 13 cohort who achieved the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 40 or more points (or a Bilingual Diploma with 38 or more points);
- 42 students from last year’s Year 13 cohort who achieved the equivalent of 320 or more UCAS points on the Applied Learning Programme;
- 56 students from last year’s Year 11 cohort who achieved 9A*s or above in General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) and its international equivalent, IGCSE examinations;
- 16 students from last year’s Year 11 cohort at Renaissance College and Discovery College who achieved 57 or more points on the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
There were also two students from Jockey Club Sarah Roe School who have achieved very highly in their work. Hugh Pearce (12 years old) has demonstrated his confidence and independence both at home and at school. Boden Cheung (8 years old) has made such good progress that he has been able transfer to the Learning Support Class at Peak School this year.
