Year 7 – Central Applications to ESF Secondary Schools

(For children born in 2012 and for entry in August 2023)

 The central application period for parents to submit application:https://www.esf.edu.hk/application-form

An acknowledgement email containing the applicant’s reference number will be sent upon submission
2 September Nomination Rights applications open: https://www.esf.edu.hk/esf-nomination-rights
5 October Deadline for receipt of supporting documents
10 October Acknowledgement email sent to parents to advise admission process
Late October to early December Interview period
7 December Offers for Year 7 places sent out
14 December Deadline to confirm places offered by payment of a deposit and non-refundable capital levy

In general, applicants will be considered by the school of zone.

Note:

  • Applicants residing in Discovery Bay may be zoned to Island School or West Island School depending on numbers.
  • For reasons of oversubscription, applicants may be directed to an out of zone school.
