Known Higher Education Destinations For 2022 Graduates

Our students from the class of 2022 are attending 220 different institutions across 22 countries. The UK remains the most popular country for our graduating students, accounting for 35.7% of all known destinations. The percentage of students studying at a Hong Kong university has increased to 25.7%, which is the highest figure since ESF began centrally recording destination data in 2010.


Known Higher Education Subject Choices For 2022 Graduates

Our students choose to study a wide range of courses in all fields of study. 18.3% of students have chosen Social and Economic Sciences, which is the combined general heading of Social Sciences with Economics, Law, Psychology, Geography, Political Sciences and/or Anthropology. Medical sciences was the second most popular, accounting for 15.5% of our students and Arts and Humanities and Business-related courses followed with 11.4% and 13.9% respectively.


The Most Popular University Destinations For ESF Graduates In 2022

243 students (24.9% of the whole cohort) have secured places at a university ranked in the world’s top 30 by Times Higher Education. This includes five students studying at the University of Oxford, six students studying at the University of Cambridge, two students studying at the University of California, Berkeley, and two students studying at Stanford University. Additionally, 64.7% of students studying in the UK will attend a top 30 UK-ranked university and 44.3% of students studying in the US will attend a top 30 US-ranked university.
